Francesco Giavazzi is an Italian economist and professor of economics at Bocconi University. His research covers macroeconomics, fiscal policy and European monetary integration.
He has advised Italian governments on economic policy and served as an economic adviser to the President of the Council of Ministers, and has co-authored widely used textbooks on macroeconomics with Olivier Blanchard.
