Cristina Garmendia is a Spanish biotechnologist, entrepreneur and former public official. She co-founded the biotechnology company Genetrix and served as Minister of Science and Innovation of Spain from 2008 to 2011.
She chairs Fundación Cotec para la Innovación and has served on the boards of listed companies including CaixaBank and Compañía Española de Petróleos.
