Zanny Minton Beddoes is a British journalist and the editor-in-chief of The Economist, the first woman to hold the position. She joined the newspaper in 1994 as its emerging markets correspondent and later served as economics editor and business affairs editor before becoming editor in 2015.
Before journalism she worked as an economist at the International Monetary Fund.
