She holds significant ownership in Las Vegas Sands and the Dallas Mavericks professional basketball team. In the media sector, she serves as the publisher of Israel Hayom and, alongside her family, owns the Las Vegas Review-Journal.

Adelson is recognized as one of the most prominent financial contributors to the Republican Party. Since 2016, she has provided substantial funding for the campaigns and legal defense funds of Donald Trump, including major contributions to his 2016 and 2020 presidential bids. In the 2024 election cycle, she was the third largest donor to his campaign, contributing $106 million.
