Larry Ellison co-founded the software company Oracle Corporation in 1977. He served as the organization's chief executive officer for thirty-seven years, concluding his tenure in 2014. Following his time as CEO, he assumed the roles of executive chairman and chief technology officer, positions he continues to hold.
