Matt Clifford is a British entrepreneur and technology-policy adviser. In 2011 he co-founded Entrepreneur First, a talent investor that builds technology companies from individual founders.
He chaired the Advanced Research and Invention Agency, served as the UK Prime Minister's representative for the AI Safety Summit in 2023, authored the UK AI Opportunities Action Plan, and has served as an adviser on artificial intelligence in Downing Street.
