David Sacks is a prominent technology executive and investor who co-founded the venture capital fund Craft Ventures in 2017. He gained early recognition as the Chief Operating Officer and product leader of PayPal and later founded Yammer, where he served as Chief Executive Officer. Additionally, he served as the interim CEO of Zenefits for a ten-month period starting in 2016.
As an angel investor, Sacks has provided early-stage backing to several major technology companies, including Facebook, Uber, SpaceX, Palantir Technologies, and Airbnb. He also contributes to the media landscape as a co-host of the All In podcast alongside Chamath Palihapitiya, Jason Calacanis, and David Friedberg. In December 2024, he was appointed as the White House AI and crypto czar for the incoming presidential administration, a role he held until March 2026.
