André Kudelski began his career as a research and development engineer at Kudelski SA and in Silicon Valley after graduating in 1984. He subsequently held roles as Pay TV Product Manager and Director of Nagravision. In 1991, he succeeded his father, Stefan Kudelski, as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Kudelski SA, having served on the company's Board of Directors since 1987.

Beyond his leadership at the Kudelski Group, he has held board positions at several international corporations, including Nestlé, Dassault Systèmes, Swiss International Air Lines, and the Edipresse Group. He has also served on the Advisory Board of Credit Suisse Group and the management committee of economiesuisse. His international engagements include membership in the Steering Committee of the Bilderberg Group.

His professional recognition includes being named a Global Leader for Tomorrow by the World Economic Forum in 1995. In 1996, he accepted an Emmy Award from the National Academy of Arts and Sciences on behalf of his company for developments in conditional access and scrambling systems for television. He has been recognized for his contributions to the field of digital security and media technology.
