Øyvind Eriksen
A Norwegian attorney and business executive serving as the president and chief executive officer of Aker ASA since 2009.
Eriksen began his career in the legal profession, joining the law firm BA-HR in 1990. He became a partner at the firm in 1996 and later served as a member of its board of directors. During his tenure as an attorney, he specialized in corporate law and strategic advisory roles for industrial enterprises.
In January 2009, he was appointed President and CEO of Aker ASA, succeeding Leif-Arne Langøy. Aker ASA is an industrial investment company with holdings in sectors such as oil and gas, renewable energy, and marine biotechnology. Under his leadership, the organization has managed a diverse portfolio of international and domestic companies.
Eriksen also holds several board positions within the Aker Group, including the role of chairman for Aker BP ASA and Cognite AS. He is a member of the board of directors for several other affiliated companies, including Aker Horizons ASA and Aker Solutions ASA.
