Toomas Hendrik Ilves is an Estonian politician and diplomat who served as President of Estonia from 2006 to 2016. He previously served as Estonia's ambassador to the United States, as Minister of Foreign Affairs, and as a Member of the European Parliament.
He has worked extensively on digital government and cybersecurity policy, chairing advisory bodies on those subjects in Europe and internationally.
