Enrico Letta (born 1966 in Pisa) is an Italian politician and academic. He served as Prime Minister of Italy from April 2013 to February 2014, heading a grand-coalition government. Earlier he held ministerial posts including Minister for European Affairs (1998–1999), Minister of Industry (1999–2001) and Undersecretary to the Presidency of the Council (2006–2008), and he was Secretary of the Democratic Party from 2021 to 2023.
Since 2015 he has been Dean of the Paris School of International Affairs (PSIA) at Sciences Po in Paris. He is the author of reports for the European institutions, including the 2024 report 'Much More Than a Market' on the future of the Single Market, commissioned by the European Council.
