Bruno Le Maire is a French politician and writer. He served as Minister of Agriculture from 2009 to 2012 and as Minister of the Economy and Finance from 2017 to 2024, one of the longest tenures in that post.
He was a member of the National Assembly for Eure and has published several books on politics and literature.
