Daniela Schwarzer is a German political scientist specialising in European affairs. She directed the German Council on Foreign Relations (DGAP) from 2016 to 2021 and led the Open Society Foundations' Europe and Central Asia region before joining the executive board of the Bertelsmann Stiftung.
